Event Details
This event is now over. Missed it? No worries! You can still support the brand new Whatcom Recovery House opening this summer! Watch the video to hear directly from community leaders, learn more about the project and its benefits, and help fund the final touches needed to make this house a home.
The house will be home to 16 residents for an average stay of six months and provide stable housing and counseling services for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorder issues. Treatment will include additional services such as housing, food security, legal support, and wrap-around care to address co-occurring mental health and primary health conditions.
Whatcom County is collaborating with the Opportunity Council and Lifeline Connections to bring this much needed resource to the community.
